Dip of Hypnosis & Psychotherapy

Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and Applied Psychotherapy

The Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and Applied Psychotherapy

The Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and Applied Psychotherapy is an evidence-based course. Research suggests that Clinical Hypnotherapy can help individuals cope with emotional and mental health issues. More evidence is in support of hypnotherapy helping clients cope with pain, stress, anxiety, weight loss and more. Our clinical hypnotherapy training adopts an integrative approach to hypnotherapy. This means you will learn various approaches and techniques from different schools of thought. You will be exposed to a ‘brain plasticity’ perspective.

Hypnotherapy changes brains!

Hypnotherapy plays a part in mind and body healing. The connection between the mind and body is considered throughout the course. An Australian university has completed research about the effects of using clinical hypnotherapy with irritable bowel syndrome and irritable bowel disease patients. The outcomes are incredible!

Stand out above the rest!

We teach differently! Our students have a blended learning of theory and practical experience. Our courses are up-to-date. Learn to help the types of clients and their issues of the 21st Century. Our graduates confidently work with individuals who are seeking relief from stress and anxiety, depression, obsessive thinking, weight loss, smoking and more.

Learning Clinical Hypnotherapy is generally different from learning counselling and psychology. There is a structure to learning Clinical Hypnotherapy. However, Clinical Hypnotherapy also involves a creative learning process. This is important to remember while you are studying.

Be educated by world leading trainers.

Our trainers are educated in clinical hypnotherapy, NLP, counselling, psychology, mindfulness, natural therapist and adult education. All our trainers are in private practice, therefore the trainers can offer real life experiences and knowledge.

The Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and Applied Psychotherapy is quality education. Students are able to practice as a Clinical Hypnotherapist globally.

Graduates better prepared – Our support!

Students work through course modules, either online and in the classroom OR written course modules and complete classroom access. It is up to you!

Students who choose face-to-face training and written course content option: You will be expected to attend workshops and practice clinical hypnotherapy. Each module is facilitated by attending a weekend workshop. Written course materials are given to each student. Students experience face-to-face training and practical experience. A calendar of weekend workshops will be emailed to you at the beginning of each student course intake.

Students who choose online and face to face training option: Most likely, you will be living outside of the UAE or living in an area which makes it difficult to attend weekend workshops. Each module is access online. You will work through each module content and complete your assessments online. You will be able to communicate and have support directly from your tutor/assessor in Dubai.

Both options: students are expected to attend an intensive five day of face-to-face training facilitated by director and senior lecturer of Hypnotherapy Training College (Aust) Glynis Bretherton. Upon completion of the above students will graduate.

The face-to-face component of the course is a dynamic learning environment. Our sincere commitment is to provide a practical approach to our education. Our students invariably find our courses play a significant role in advancing their personal and professional development. New levels of self-awareness equip them for the very rewarding responsibility of helping others overcome personal problems.

Assessments:

HTCA does not make it difficult for our students. HTCA have adopted the educational neuroscience perspective. This means all assessment are open book. Our students have access to their course content while completing assessments. HTCA does not expect our students to complete assessments that are difficult to understand and complete. We are interested in what our students think! Our tutor/assessors are more interested in how the clinical hypnotherapist will treat their clients and what information is given to the clients. HTCA will nature the students while they learn about the theory, skill and techniques of clinical hypnotherapy. Assessments are not to add to the stress of the student. However assessments will teach the student. Simply put, if students are stressed about assessments they will only look for the answers to the assessments, and not gain the knowledge from the course content. A brain under stress doesn’t not learn!

Entrepreneurship

Be part of a progressive learning community that supports being an entrepreneur. Our trainers are excellent examples of developing a successful business. Often in the classroom students and trainers openly discuss business building ideas. Students network and build relationships which can support their business and be supportive of others. Students are exposed to a creative environment where learning is a wonderful opportunity. Graduates have incorporated hypnotherapy into their current profession or open a clinical private practice.
